PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust device for an internal combustion engine, capable of further suppressing the clogging of a catalyst with manganese oxide than conventional one, without causing the deterioration of the catalyst.SOLUTION: The exhaust device for the internal combustion engine equipped with the catalyst for purifying exhaust gas includes notifying means for notifying a driver of predetermined information, motoring means for performing the motoring of the internal combustion engine, and back pressure measuring means for measuring the pressure of exhaust gas. On condition that the pressure of the exhaust gas measured by the back pressure measuring means is higher than a predetermined pressure (Step S2; Yes), the notifying means is actuated (Step S3) and the motoring of the internal combustion engine is performed at a predetermined speed for a predetermined time by the motoring means (Step S5). |
