PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accessory provided with a base material, constituted mainly of a plastic material that is superior in transmissivity of electromagnetic waves and in esthetic appearance and durability, to provide a manufacturing method for the accessory capable of manufacturing the accessory, and to provide a watch provided with the accessory. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the accessory 1 has a process of forming an oxide coating 3, constituted mainly of a metal oxide on a base material 2 constituted mainly of a plastic material, a process of forming a metal coating 4 constituted mainly of a metal material on the oxide coating 3, a process of forming an opening 6, by irradiating a laser light from a side opposite to the side, where the metal coating 4 of the base material 2 is placed and removing a part of the metal coating 4 and a process of forming a coat layer 5 on the metal coating 4. The area fraction occupied by the opening 6, when the metal coating 4 is viewed in planar view, is 25 to 35%. The width of the opening 6 is 10 to 100μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
