PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for adsorbing heavy metals from soil and silt, and water containing heavy metals.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for cleaning soil which brings soil containing heavy metal into contact with a heavy metal adsorbent containing metal selected from metal iron, iron oxide, iron hydroxide or a combination thereof in a resin material, in a cleaning agent containing: water; one or a plurality of acidic substances; one or a plurality of alkali metal salts or alkaline earth metal salts; and a dispersant, and thereby removes the heavy metal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
