There are disclosed an electrophotographic toner including a compound represented by formula (1) and a compound represented by formula (2). In Formula (1), R₁, R₂, R₃, and R₄ each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aromatic group, and X^- represents a molybdate anion or a tungstate anion. In Formula (2), R₅⁺ and R₆⁺ each independently represent a hydrogen ion, an ammonium ion, an iminium ion, or a phosphonium ion, and R⁷, R⁸, R⁹, R¹⁰, R¹¹, R¹², R¹³, and R¹⁴ each independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.
