PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a grow plug that can prevent cracks from being generated in heater molding.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a grow plug including a heater having a substrate comprising an insulated ceramic and a resistor disposed in the substrate includes: a step of molding a first intermediate molded body using a first ceramic molding material including a binder and a conductive material; a step of exposing the first intermediate molded body in a humid environment having 60-80 %RH for 20 hours or more, or in a humid environment having 80-100 %RH for five hours or more; a step of molding a second intermediate molded body which has a binder and uses a second ceramic molding material smaller than a contraction ratio than the first molding material if they are heated under the same condition; and a step of removing the binder from the first intermediate molded body and the second intermediate molded body by heating the second intermediate molded body including the first intermediate molded body. |
