摘要 The highly accurate clock has an oscillation arrangement (101) which outputs a time count reference signal. It also has a divider (102) to divide the reference signal. A display (103) displays time count information in accordance with the output of the divider (102). The device also has a clock rate acceleration and delay control device (104) to output a clock rate acceleration and delay signal to the oscillator (101) or the divider (102). An acceleration and delay data memory (105) stores data on the amount of clock rate acceleration or delay. A clock rate adaptation controller (106) receives a clock rate adaptation and reference signal. This includes an external reference signal which comes from outside the clock which is in an off line state. The controller (106) outputs a clock rate adaptation control signal to adjust the clock rate. A clock rate acceleration and delay measuring arrangement (107) inputs the clock rate adaptation control signal, the time count reference signal and a division signal from the divider (102). The difference between an output frequency of the oscillator (101) and a frequency of the external reference signal is determined. Data on the amount of rate acceleration or delay are output to the data memory (105).
