<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removal method easily removing PCB from equipment with PCB attached to inner or outer surface thereof, and a decomposition method, by resolving problems that, though various methods of PCB treatment, such as a high temperature combustion method, a chemical decomposition method, or a supercritical water method, are proposed and many experiments have been done, while these methods are all for treatment of PCB introduced to a treatment apparatus as a liquid, and do not consider the attached state of PCB to equipment or vessels like a transformer, and complete removal of PCB in such a state from the equipment or vessels is very difficult. <P>SOLUTION: In this method, PCB is removed from equipment surfaces by applying blasting to equipment with liquid containing PCB attached to inner or outer surfaces thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
