New double secondary para-phenylenediamines and hair dye composition comprising them. The para-phenylenediamines are of Formula (I) R : 1-2C alkyl or alkoxy; m : integer 0-4; n : integer 1-3; Most preferably m : 0; n : 2 Independent claims are included for (1) a method of oxidation dyeing of keratinic matter by applying the claimed composition; and (2) a device comprising several compartments, one of which contains the claimed composition and the other an oxidizing agent.
