PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for a bathtub capable of performing assistance in standing-up when a user stands up from a seated posture inside a bathtub.SOLUTION: A handrail for a bathtub includes: a main body tool 3 with a handrail 2 arranged therein; a side piece 4 hanging downward from one side part of an upper piece 24 in the main body tool 3; one pressure tool 5 arranged on the inner side of the side piece 4; a pressure plate 6 arranged in the pressure tool 5; an operation handle 7 for performing an operation to move the pressure tool 5 in a direction of approaching to and leaving from the side piece 4; a pressure reception tool 8 arranged to face the pressure plate 6; a grip 64 arranged on the surface of the pressure reception tool 8 on the opposite side of the pressure plate 6; a bolt shaft that is arranged by penetrating the side piece 4 via a female screw 11 arranged in the side piece 4 and whose tip end is connected to the pressure tool 5; and a handle knob 13 attached to the rear end of the bolt shaft and performing an operation to allow the bolt shaft to turn so as to move forward/backward by screwing onto the female screw 11. The grip 64 is attached to the pressure reception tool 8 in a vertical direction. |
