HOCKEY STICK AND SNOW SHOVEL WAX

Here is disclosed a bar for waxing the blade of a hockey stick or the blade of a snow shovel for preventing the build up of ice on the blade. The bar is formed in the shape of a star and made from a mixture of paraffin wax and salt. The salt is present as a suspension in the paraffin and has a concentration which is sufficient to prevent the build up of ice on the blade when the bar is used to coat the blade. The block is preferably shaped as a pentagonal star.
