<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat discoloring composition capable of irreversibly erasing color by heating, and to provide an ink composition in which discoloring is started only at a predetermined temperature (particularly, about 55°C). <P>SOLUTION: The heat discoloring composition includes: an electron-releasing coloring organic compound, an electron-accepting compound, a discoloring temperature adjuster, and a compound represented by general formula (1) as a color erasing agent, wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>each independently represent hydrocarbon group represented by C<SB POS="POST">n</SB>H<SB POS="POST">2n+1</SB>(n is an integer of 1-22) or phenyl. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
