PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel capable of lightening itself and maintaining rigidity by eliminating a member at an ineffective part and efficiently arranging the member at a proper point. SOLUTION: This bearing device for the wheel has a flange part 41 having a bolt insertion hole 44 to bolt the wheel and having a pilot part 51 extending in the axial direction to guide an inner diametrical surface of the wheel on the one direction side, a bearing part provided to support the wheel and a brake rotor free to rotate and a shaft fitting hole 52 into which a shaft body to drive a hub wheel 40 is inserted, wherein a plurality of recessed parts 57 having dents in the axial direction are formed in the peripheral direction on a pilot inner diametrical part 53 between the pilot part 51 and the shaft fitting hole 52.
