<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and systems for extracting power from a photovoltaic collection system. <P>SOLUTION: A power generation system configured to provide DC power to a DC link 84 is described. The power generation system includes a first power generation unit 22 configured to output DC power. The power generation system also includes a first DC to DC converter 70 comprising an input section 90 and an output section 92. The output section of the first DC to DC converter 70 is coupled in series with the first power generation unit 22. The first DC to DC converter 70 is configured to process a first portion of the DC power output by the first power generation unit 22 and to provide an unprocessed second portion of the DC power output of the first power generation unit 22 to the output section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
