<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat such as an auxiliary seat. <P>SOLUTION: The child seat includes a seat shell which includes a lock and an anchor strap formed of a continuous web member. The anchor strap has two ends and an intermediate part positioned between the two ends. The two ends are provided with fasteners which are arranged on the backside of the seat shell and can be attached to an anchor structure of a vehicle, respectively, and the intermediate part is folded back on itself to demarcate two segments of the web member. The lock can tighten a part of the two segments so as to be releasable, and the intermediate part is elongated outward from the lock to demarcate each loop tab. In addition, the inside of the seat shell can be provided with a strap guiding structure which includes two sidewalls for demarcating a passage for the web member.
