PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumable electrode gas shielded arc welding torch 21 with which the life of a power feeding chip 22 can be prolonged.SOLUTION: A chip cap 23 of a power feeding chip 22 is made to cover a chip body 24. An outer circumferential groove 26 is formed on the chip body 24, an axial direction locking projecting part 28 corresponding to the outer circumferential groove 26 is formed on the internal surface of the chip cap 23 and a plurality of slits 27 are formed in the direction of the axial center in a base end part. A plurality of vertical grooves 29 are formed in the direction of the axial center part on the side of the base end part 24b of the chip body, a plurality of rotational direction locking projecting parts 30 which are fit to a plurality of vertical grooves 29 are formed in the base end part 23b of the chip body 24. Even when the tip part 23a of a wire threading hole becomes an elliptic shape by wearing, the welding wire 5 is brought into contact with an unworn place by rotating the chip cap 23 to the chip body 24. The aimed position of the welding wire 5 to the base material does not deviate. |
