The case comprises a platform (2) representing the base, and two folding walls (3) interconnected on their underside and connected to the longer side-sections of the platform. Each of the folding walls consists of two interconnected and horizontally hinged panels. Two further folding walls (5) are connected on their lower side to the shorter sides of the base platform. They have a capability for vertical movement so that they can be folded down onto the first walls.
