PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the data archive server of a provider instead of a user to archive data to be used in multi-media equipment by utilizing telecommunication channel. SOLUTION: This data archive system is provided with the multi-media equipment 20 provided on the side of the plural users 2a or the like, the data archive server 10 on the side of the provider 1 for storing and archiving the data to be used in the multi-media equipment 20 and a communication channel 30 for communicably connecting the data archive server 10 to the multi-media equipment 20. The data archive server 10 is provided with a transmission/ reception part 11, a user management part 12 for managing user information, a data management part 13 for writing archive request data or the like and a data storage part 14.
