PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an AGC circuit whose attenuation amount of a variable attenuator is a linear characteristic for monitor voltage, in a simple circuit composition. SOLUTION: The AGC circuit 100 is provided with a linear circuit 10 with a constant current source 11b which flows a constant current Ir, an exponential circuit 14b which has an exponential characteristic for a setting voltage Vc (monitor voltage), and a proportional circuit 16b which has a proportional characteristic.
