The indicator ( 12 ) is characterised in that the display device ( 20 ) comprises a plurality of display entities ( 22, 25, 26, 28, 29 ) selectively actuatable by the control circuit ( 30 ) on the basis of the type of measuring device ( 15 ) connectable to the control circuit ( 30 ).
