PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve removal efficiency for air bubbles in a lubricating oil, and to improve the fuel consumption of an engine. SOLUTION: This lubricating device 3 comprises an oil pump 5 for sucking the lubricating oil stored in an oil pan 2 for supplying it to the operating parts of the engine. A relief passage 11 allowing the lubricating oil returned to the oil pan without being supplied to the operating parts to flow therein is connected to a discharge passage 10 through which the lubricating oil is supplied from the oil pump 5 to the operating parts of the engine through a relief valve 6 for relieving the pressure of the lubricating oil in the discharge passage 10. A centrifugal separating gas-liquid separator 7 by which the lubricating oil is separated into a gas and a liquid through a centrifugal action in which the lubricating oil is turned by the kinetic energy of the lubricating oil is connected to the downstream side of the relief valve 6.
