PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition providing a molded article of excellent molded appearance without impairing the original characteristics (heat resistance and impact resistance) of filler-reinforced crystalline resin, and the molded article. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition contains (A) a polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer composition containing 50-95 mass% of aromatic vinyl monomer (a1) and 5-50 mass% of specific (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer (a2), wherein the mass average molecular weight is 5,000-70,000, (B) crystalline resin selected out of polyester-based resin and polyamide-based resin, and (C) an inorganic filler.
