<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cycle characteristics of a secondary battery comprising a positive electrode containing a spinel-type lithium manganese oxide as a positive electrode active material, or a Ni-Co-Mn ternary positive electrode containing a lithium-containing Ni-Co-Mn ternary oxide as a positive electrode active material. <P>SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a nonaqueous electrolytic solution containing a specific fluorine-containing ether solvent, a specific non-fluorine ether compound, and at least one member selected from the group consisting of cyclic carbonate compounds and cyclic ester compounds at a specific ratio, a positive electrode containing a spinel-type lithium manganese oxide as a positive electrode active material, and a negative electrode.
