PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal whose elastic contact part is prevented from being twisted and deformed even if an oblique load acts on a free end side of the elastic contact part.SOLUTION: A female terminal 1A has a terminal connection part 2 provided by folding a conductive metal plate. The terminal connection part 2 includes: a box part 3 into which a male terminal 45 is inserted; and an elastic contact part 8 which is supported by the inner surface of the box part 3 in a state where a cantilever support part 8a is overlapped and elastically displaced by the distorted deformation. A positioning hole 10 is provided in a central position in a direction T perpendicular to the flexural deformation direction of the elastic contact part 8, and a positioning projection 11 to be inserted into the positioning hole 10 is provided in a position of a top wall 7 of the box part 3 corresponding to the positioning hole 10. |
