PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch hydraulic servo having compacter construction as well as improved assemblability and reduced manufacturing processes and manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The hydraulic servo 30 for a clutch C-4 comprises a cancel plate 34 arranged on a clutch drum 22 to be rotated in association with a clutch drum 32 having cylinder portion 32d in the form that its movement to the opposite side to a return spring 35 is restricted in the axial direction. The clutch drum 32 is separately arranged on the clutch drum 22. A stepped portion 22d of the clutch drum 22 prohibits the movement of the clutch drum 32 to the opposite side to the cancel plate 34. With the energizing force of the return spring 35, hydraulic pressure in a cancel oil chamber 37 and hydraulic pressure in an operating oil chamber 36, force of thrusting the clutch drum 32 against the stepped portion 22d is greater than force of thrusting it against the side of the cancel plate 34 at all times.
