PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of preventing damages such as flaws on a recording surface caused by contact with the edge or the like of a disk tray by considering user's hand shaking or oblique attaching during loading/unloading of an optical disk on/from the optical disk device. SOLUTION: In the disk tray of the optical disk device, an edge corner part formed by a roughly half-moon flat recess facing the bottom surface of an optical disk when the optical disk is loaded on a turntable, and a side face part formed in a place corresponding to the roughly half-moon arc of the recess is chamfered into a circular-arc shape.
