PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display for preventing the device from being entirely warped, even when applying a liquid crystal cell of a plastic substrate. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display includes the liquid crystal cell 1 with the substrate made of a plastic material, and a switching sheet 2 arranged on a rear face side of the liquid crystal cell 1, and provided with a switching part 20 for supplying or blocking a current in response to a whether to apply a pressing force. The liquid crystal display is also arranged with a rigid plate-member 3 on a surface of the switching part 20 on the rear face side of the liquid crystal cell 1, and the plate-member 3 is formed with a through hole 30 in a position facing the switching part 20.
