<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe fitting capable of preventing a resin pipe from being broken starting at a trace of crimping which is formed when the crimping teeth of a locking ring are crimped in the resin pipe. <P>SOLUTION: As the crimping teeth of the locking ring 5, first and second crimping teeth 52, 53 are formed on the inner peripheral part of a base 51 alternately in the circumferential direction. The amount of the projection of both ends of the first crimping tooth 52 from the base 51 is larger than the amount of projection of both ends of the second crimping tooth 53 from the base 51 so that when the first and second crimping teeth 52, 53 are crimped into the resin pipe, both ends of the trace of crimping formed in the resin pipe by the first crimping tooth 52 in the circumferential direction are positioned forward of the both ends of the trace of crimping formed by the second crimping tooth in the resin pipe inserting direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
