摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining material for aluminum, to which an aluminum member can be joined at the low temperature equal to or lower than 600°C while suppressing an influence of a thermal expansion difference and while assuring predetermined insulation properties and water resistance.SOLUTION: A joining material 12 for aluminum has a double-layer composite structure comprising an inside glass sheet 20 and an outside glass sheet 22. The inside glass sheet 20 has a thermal expansion coefficient higher than that of the outside glass sheet 22. The outside glass sheet 22 is joined to aluminum at the low temperature equal to or lower than 600°C. Since the inside glass sheet 20 has the high thermal expansion coefficient, the influence of the stress caused by the thermal expansion difference between the inside glass sheet and aluminum can be suppressed. Since the outside glass sheet 22 having low melting point is adopted, the joining material for aluminum can properly be joined respectively to an aluminum-made plate material 14 and an aluminum-made pin 16 at the low temperature equal to or lower than 600°C. Excellent joining strength, adhesiveness and airtightness can be obtained. Since the outside glass sheet 22 of low melting point has a low thermal expansion coefficient and assures low-temperature joinability, a thin film of 30-300 μm can be used as the outside glass sheet and the influence of the thermal expansion difference can be alleviated.
