<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a USB hub which can reduce power consumption in a USB system. <P>SOLUTION: A USB hub 10 comprises: an upstream USB port 11; downstream USB ports 12; clock terminals 13 for supplying operation clock to USB peripheral devices 30; and a hub controller 17 which stops clock supply to the USB peripheral devices 30 via the clock terminals 13 when connection between the upstream USB port 11 and a USB host 20 is disconnected or a suspension request from the USB host 20 to the downstream USB port 12 is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
