<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article further reducing wet feeling by effectively reducing humidity inside the worn article in use and giving further comfortable wearing feeling. <P>SOLUTION: This absorbent article 1 includes a surface sheet 2, a back sheet 3, and a vertically long absorber 4 interposed between both the sheets 2 and 3. The back sheet 3 has moisture permeability. The absorber 4 has high basis weight parts 41 and low basis weight parts 42, and the high basis weight parts 41 and the low basis weight parts 42 are integrally molded. The absorber is formed with, on the back sheet 3, a rugged structure formed by alternately disposing projecting parts being the high basis weight parts 41 and recessed parts being the low basis weight parts 42, and the low basis weight parts 42 are unevenly disposed on the surface sheet 2. The recessed part (the low basis weight part 42) is recessed to the side of the surface sheet 2 and the projecting part (the high basis weight part 41) projects to the side of the back sheet 3.
