PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing an initial curl (back curl) from being generated in a recorded medium which hinders conveyance of the recorded medium in an image forming device, the method including: using high-viscosity water-based ink of 15 mPas or more at 25°C which takes a long time to generate the initial curl especially when a paper conveying route is not straight but is turned or during high-speed printing; using low-viscosity ink when no curl is likely to occur in a machine while preparing both the high-viscosity water-based ink and the low-viscosity water-based ink; and increasing the amount of liquid to be deposited to a level of reducing a curl by splashing a liquid without colorant when curling is predicted due to a large amount of ink to be deposited in a solid image.
SOLUTION: The high-viscosity water-based ink is used when high-speed printing is performed or paper is turned during conveyance. When a curling trouble is predicted in the machine, the high-viscosity ink is used while preparing the low-viscosity ink and the high-viscosity ink. The curl is reduced by increasing the adhered amount of the liquid by the liquid with no colorant so that the adhered amount of the ink is not in a specific range in which the curl is widened.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
