<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there is the risk that consumables such as toner are consumed unnecessarily since an image forming apparatus execute printing processing based on all print data received through a network. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises: a registered unique identification table composed of registered unique identification data for identifying a host device for which printing is permitted; a data extraction part for extracting unique identification data from print data when the print data are received; a data determination part for referring to the registered unique identification table on the basis of the extracted unique identification data, determining that printing is possible when the matching registered intrinsic identification data are stored and determining that printing is impossible when the matching registered unique identification data are not stored; and a printing control part for transferring the print data to a printing part when the data determination part determines that printing is possible and abandoning the print data when it determines that printing is impossible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
