<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management program for an image forming device, facilitating operability of a plug-in application. <P>SOLUTION: When an "HDD Backup Utility" that is the plug-in application is designated from a start menu by a user, this management program is started. The management program receives information about which plug-in application is designated. Based on the received information, function buttons of the designated plug-in application (in this case, buttons of "backup" and "restoration" corresponding to the HDD Backup Utility) are arranged in a "HOME" display column 305. The user is easy to find the button of the HOME display column, and easy to push it.
