X-RAY COLLIMATOR AND X-RAY IMAGING APPARATUS COMPRISING THE SAME

Disclosed are an X-ray collimator which can be installed in a narrow space and can be easily driven, and an X-ray imaging apparatus including the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the X-ray collimator comprises: a plurality of blocking plates, each of which has a transmitting window previously formed to transmit a portion of an X-ray beam emitted by an X-ray generator; and a blocking plate selecting unit moving a blocking plate selected among the plurality of blocking plates from a first position deviating from the progressing path of the X-ray beam to a second position on the progressing path of the X-ray beam. According to the present invention, the X-ray imaging apparatus comprises: the X-ray generator; the X-ray collimator adjusting the emitting range of the X-ray beam emitted from the X-ray generator and having the above configuration; and an X-ray sensor sensing an X-ray beam transmitting an object.
