Disclosed are an electronic device having a noise reduction function and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, in the electronic device having a noise reduction function and a control method thereof, the electronic device comprises: a microphone detecting a surrounding audio signal; a determination unit determining a noise section of the audio signal detected by the microphone; a signal generation unit generating a noise reduction signal to reduce the noise; a speaker selectively outputting one or two selected in a notification audio signal and the noise reduction signal of the electronic device; a control unit determining whether the speaker outputs the notification audio signal and the noise reduction signal; and a wireless communication unit.
