PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system capable of reducing a burden on a patient by continuing observation even when any one of a plurality of light sources is put out due to a failure and the like.SOLUTION: The endoscope system includes control means which replaces a light source relating to a failure with illumination light of a normal light source among light sources instead in the case where one of a plurality of the light sources 33a, 33b, 35a, 35b is put out due to the failure, and also switches image processing of a picked-up image signal outputted from a solid-state imaging element 21 included in an electronic endoscope tip part to suppress a color tone change of a picked-up image after the image processing between before and after the replacement when illumination light in a normal state of the light source relating to the failure is different from illumination light of the replaced light source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
