The invention relates to an entry/exit management device. The entry/exit management device can suppress useless unlocking caused by a user having no passing intention without reducing convenience of a frequently user. The entry/exit management device comprises a reading portion which reads identification information of ID label in a reception range, a storage portion which pre-stores information that is related to identification information on whether a user has a passing authority of the door and is a frequently user of the door, an authentication unit which authenticates whether the user corresponding to the identification information read by the reading portion has the passing authority of the door according to the information of the storage portion, a determination unit which determines whether a successfully authenticated user is a frequently user of the door according to the information of the storage portion, a changing unit which changes the reception range of the reading portion from a first region to a second region close to the door when the authenticated user is determined as a non-frequently user of the door, and a control portion which unlocks the door when the identification information of the successfully authenticated user is read from the second region by the reading portion. |
