Method for quality control of curved pipes in which an arrangement of pipe testing elements (10) also acts as the support points (12) for the curved pipe (14) that is defined within an X-Y-Z coordinate system (16). The testing elements are mounted on a base plate (18) according to the path of the pipe. The test elements are initially positioned using a prototype pipe. Once the pipe is positioned the test elements are used to check the dimensional stability of the pipe. The invention also relates to a corresponding device for method implementation. -
