<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removable memory unit equipped with a processing module and provided with an inexpensive, accurate individual authentication means, and to provide a computer device. <P>SOLUTION: The removable memory unit 10 connected to the computer device 20 having a display means 21, an input means 22 and a port 23 for connecting the removable unit, comprises the processing module 13 in which an OS starting program 31 and an OS 32 are installed; a non-contact ID tag reading means 15 (an RFID reading means) for reading individual authentication data 41 recorded in a non-contact ID tag 40; and a collating means 16 (an RFID collating means) for carrying out individual authentication based on the individual authentication data 41 read by the non-contact ID tag reading means 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
