<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle equipment operating device operable with a steering wheel gripped and capable of preventing wrong operation and facilitating operation. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of operation input parts 5, 7 are installed in the steering wheel of a vehicle to sense operation inputs by a driver. Each of the plurality of operation input parts 5, 7 receives stroke inputs including a stroke direction as the operation inputs by the driver. An operation signal processing part 9 generates an operation signal for controlling on-vehicle equipment 3 in accordance with the operation inputs sensed by the plurality of operation input parts 5, 7. When operation inputs are simultaneously sensed by the plurality of operation input parts 5, 7, the operation signal processing part 9 makes the operation effective and generates operation signals different in accordance with combination of a plurality of stroke inputs received by the plurality of operation input parts 5, 7, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
