PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress that a developer with small charge amount carried on an outer part than an end surface of a supply roller of a developing roller from being scraped off from a housing.SOLUTION: A developing device (a developing cartridge 28) is equipped with a housing 50 for storing a developer; a developing roller 31 which has a rotary axis extending in an axial direction; a supply roller 33 which extends in the axial direction, and supplies the developer to the developing roller 31 and supplies the developer to the developing roller 31; and a side seal 200 disposed between a housing 50 and an end portion in the axial direction of the developing roller 31. The side seal 200 has a base layer 210 supported by the housing 50, and a surface layer 220 contacted with a surface of the developing roller 31. The surface layer 220 has a first surface layer 221 extending in a rotary direction of the developing roller 31, and a second surface layer 222 extending in the axial direction. The second surface layer 222 extends to the inner side than an end surface of the supply roller 33 in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
