A blurring-enhanced image processing device comprises: an image capture system (14) that focuses an optical image of a subject, thereby creating an image; an image capture control unit (13) that causes a reference image focused on a main subject and an image having a different focal position to be captured; and an image combination unit (20) that creates a blurring-enhanced image from a plurality of captured images. The image capture control unit (13) causes n pairs of paired images to be captured such that |dk−1 - dk| ≤ |dk - dk+1|, wherein the focal distance of the main subject is between the focal distances of the paired images of each pair, and each pair has an identical diameter d of circle-of-confusion of the main subject. |
