SHORT CIRCUIT ARC WELDER AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric arc welder operated to perform a short circuit process with a first wave form for controlling a short condition followed by a second wave form for controlling an arc condition. SOLUTION: This electric arc welder 200 includes a comparator 280 to create an arc signal when the short condition terminates and a controller C for shifting the welder 200 from the controlling by the first waveform to the controlling by the second waveform in response to creation of the arc signal.
