Preferred Components: The enzymatic catalyst particulate is covalently or non-covalently fixed on a carrier material. The gas is air or nitrogen (both preferred), thin air, oxygen, noble gases or carbon dioxide. The carrier material exhibits an average particle size of greater than 0.5 mu m. #CMT#POLYMERS : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The solid material consists of: a polymer on basis of polyacrylate, polymethacrylate, polyvinyl styrene, styrene divinylbenzene copolymer, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, or polytetrafluoroethylene or copolymers of these compounds or oxide and/or ceramic carriers; and an acidic or basic ion exchange resin. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# Myristyl alcohol (329 g) and myristic acid (351 g) were tempered in a collection container (1 l) at 60[deg] C and mixed (viscosity of the mixture at 60[deg] C, approximately 6 mPas). In the bottom region of the reaction container, Novozym 435(RTM: Immobilized lipase from Candida Antarctica) (2.7 g) was added and the total reaction container was tempered at 60[deg] C. The compressed air entry was included at 0.4 l/minute. The return was tempered at 60[deg] C. The reaction process was carried out for 25 hours (where a turnover of 99.3% was achieved relative to the fatty acid) to obtain myristyl myristate.</p>
