PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material having water-repellent surface of a novel structure which does not exist heretofore.SOLUTION: The composite material 2 includes a solid phase body 4 and a porous particle layer 10 having a surface in which the porous particles 12 are filled, on the surface of the solid phase body 4. Favorably, inorganic material or ceramic material is used as the porous particles 12. For example, silica, mica, talc, sericite, kaolin, clay, bentonite, activated carbon, carbon black and the like can be given. Further, oxides such as titanium oxide and aluminum oxide (alumina), hydroxides such as aluminum hydroxide and halides such as aluminum chloride are given. |
