PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which suppresses vibration and noise by making the surface magnetic flux density into a sine wave thereby reducing cogging torque and torque ripple. SOLUTION: In the motor, the outside diameter of a rotor core on which to mount a sheet-shaped flexible rare earth magnet magnetized into many poles is changed from a conventional perfect circle into a shape constituted of a straight line or a curve, whereby the waveform of rotor magnetization can be adjusted freely, and the magnetic flux density waveform is made into sine wave by reducing the cogging torque and the torque ripples.
