WASTE SUPPLY APPARATUS AND ITS SEALING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste supply apparatus capable of preventing sparks from occurring when a double damper having a seal function to obstruct inflow of ambient air to a gasifying furnace is closed, and preventing adherence of magnetic waste or fine waste. SOLUTION: Each damper body 11a (12a) of an upper damper 11 and a lower damper 12 of the waste supply apparatus of the gasifying furnace is configured of a damper base plate 11b (12b), and a hard low friction resin plate 11c (12c) fixed on the damper base plate 11b (12b) by a mechanical fastening means 11d (12d). When the upper damper 11 and the lower damper 12 are closed, the upper faces of an outer edge part of the hard low friction resin plate 11c (12c) abuts on a seal face formed on the inside of a perpendicular chute portion 7a.
