PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient and highly productive regeneration process for manufacturing regenerated casting sand capable of being used even in a cold box process.SOLUTION: A casting sand regeneration process for regenerating casting sand to be used in a casting mould, comprises: a step of crushing a casting mould covered with a binder composed mainly of water glass, to attain crushed chips; and a polishing step of polishing said casting sand by adding an acid solution to said crushed chips.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
