<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission system that takes fault countermeasures with simpler constitution than before, and has higher robustness than before. <P>SOLUTION: An optical closure 120 is connected to a center 110 in a multiple-connection manner through a plurality of optical transmission lines, repeats an optical signal transmitted from the center 110, and outputs the optical signal to a drop closure 130. Once a break of transmission of the optical signal of T.Line#0 is detected, an optical switch 200 switches an optical transmission line used to transmit the optical signal to the center 110 to T.Line#1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
