<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance processing efficiency of an SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) processor which divides two-dimensional data into blocks having a width of N numbers of PE (Processor Elements), and stores the divided two-dimensional data in local memories of the PE in a cross direction priority method. <P>SOLUTION: For specifying local addresses of N pieces of data, which are stored in local memories and arranged in a row direction from head data having coordinate values (X, Y) in two-dimensional data, in a PE (Processor Element) array 110, a CP (Control Processor) 150 broadcasts a local address A1, a local address A2 and a threshold number Z which are acquired by an address calculation unit. Each PE compares the threshold number Z with its own number to determine magnitude correlation, and also selects either the local address A1 or the local address A2 according to a result of the comparison. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
